Chartered Accountant (CA)

About the role

Bandan Bhagwati Nirman Sewa is looking for a qualified Chartered Accountant to lead its finance and accounting functions. The role involves ensuring accurate financial records, statutory compliance and supporting strategic financial decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and supervise overall accounting and finance operations.
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
• Maintain books of accounts and supporting documentation.
• Monitor cash flow, receivables, payables, expenses and working capital.
• Prepare budgets, financial forecasts and management reports.
• Ensure timely filing of VAT, TDS, income tax and other statutory returns.
• Coordinate with tax authorities, auditors, banks and consultants.
• Handle internal and external audits, providing required schedules and explanations.
• Ensure compliance with Nepalese accounting, taxation, company and regulatory requirements.
• Establish and monitor effective internal financial controls and procedures.
• Review project‑wise costs, profitability, expenses and financial performance.
• Monitor construction/project‑related financial transactions, bills, payments and reconciliations.
• Verify invoices, payment documents, purchase transactions and supporting records.
• Assist management in financial planning, investment decisions, cost control and business strategy.
• Identify financial risks and recommend corrective measures.
• Lead and supervise the finance and accounts team.
