Chief Financial Officer

About the role

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will lead the finance function of NB Group from its headquarters in Bagmati, Nepal. Reporting to senior leadership, the CFO will shape financial strategy, oversee budgeting and cash‑flow management, and drive value creation across the group’s diverse operating companies.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute long‑term financial plans, budgets, and capital‑allocation strategies for multiple entities.
• Supervise preparation, analysis, and timely reporting of consolidated financial statements.
• Maintain robust internal controls and ensure compliance with accounting and regulatory standards.
• Manage relationships with banks, investors, auditors, and regulatory bodies.
• Provide data‑driven insights for investment decisions and evaluate new projects in hospitality, health, trade, and other sectors.
• Assess financial risks and opportunities aligned with the group’s growth objectives.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team while promoting best practices in corporate governance.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in corporate finance, treasury management, and capital markets, preferably within a multi‑entity or holding‑company environment.
• Proven leadership of finance teams with strong stakeholder‑management skills.
• Professional qualification such as CPA, ACCA, CA, CFA or equivalent, and/or a master’s degree in finance, accounting, or business.
• Track record of working with banks, investors, auditors, and regulators, especially in emerging or South Asian markets.
• High ethical standards and a commitment to transparent, values‑based operations.
