Chief Operating Officer (COO)

About the role

K. K. Foods is seeking a highly experienced Chief Operating Officer to lead and optimise operations across its food division. The COO will shape strategy, drive efficiency and support growth in the FMCG sector.

Key responsibilities

• Lead overall operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and scalability across all business functions.
• Develop and execute strategic plans aligned with organisational goals and growth targets.
• Oversee production, supply chain, distribution, and quality control processes.
• Drive process improvements and cost optimisation initiatives.
• Manage budgets, financial planning, and performance monitoring.
• Ensure compliance with food safety standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
• Build, mentor, and lead high‑performing teams across departments.
• Collaborate with senior management to support business expansion and new initiatives.
• Analyse operational performance and implement data‑driven decision‑making.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of senior operational leadership experience, preferably in FMCG or food manufacturing.
• Proven track record of scaling business performance and improving profitability.
• Strong strategic thinking with ability to translate vision into actionable plans.
• Excellent leadership and people‑management capabilities.
• Sound understanding of food safety regulations and industry standards.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional senior executives.
