Civil Engineer

About the role

Legal Engineering Consultancy, together with the Federation of Contractor’s Associations of Nepal (FCAN), is seeking qualified Civil Engineers to join a specialised team focused on contract administration, construction management and dispute resolution for infrastructure projects. The role offers exposure to contract interpretation, claims handling and arbitration support across multiple regions in Nepal.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret and administer construction contracts for public and private infrastructure projects.
• Manage contract performance, monitor milestones and ensure compliance with technical specifications.
• Prepare and evaluate claims, support dispute resolution and provide arbitration assistance.
• Deliver consultancy services related to project planning, execution and risk mitigation.
• Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders at duty stations in Biratnagar, Janakpur, Kathmandu, Pokhara, Bhaluwang, Birendranagar and Dhangadhi.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 12 months of relevant experience in construction contracts or project management.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to work in a multi‑location environment.
