Compliance Associate

About the role

The Compliance Associate will work on‑site in Kathmandu, supporting Codavatar Tech’s regulatory and legal compliance across the organization. This full‑time position involves monitoring processes, drafting guidelines, and ensuring that all activities adhere to applicable laws and internal policies.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor internal processes and documentation to verify compliance with laws, regulations and company policies.
• Draft, update and maintain compliance guidelines and frameworks.
• Conduct periodic audits and prepare detailed reports for senior management.
• Review contracts and operational procedures to identify compliance risks.
• Coordinate with cross‑functional teams to address findings and support training initiatives.

Required profile

• Strong background in compliance management, regulatory and legal compliance.
• Ability to interpret relevant laws, regulations and industry standards.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail and data‑driven decision making.
• Bachelor’s degree in law, business, finance or a related field; experience in compliance, risk management or internal audit is a plus.
