Educational Counselor – Study Abroad (Canada)

About the role

Sprout Education Consultancy seeks a motivated Educational Counselor to guide students aspiring to study in Canada. You will provide end‑to‑end support throughout the admission and visa processes, ensuring ethical and student‑centered advice.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive counseling for students planning to study in Canada.
• Assist students in selecting suitable courses, universities, and career pathways.
• Explain admission requirements, eligibility criteria, and application procedures.
• Prepare and submit applications and required documentation.
• Support students through the visa application process, including interview preparation.
• Maintain regular communication with students and their parents.
• Participate in education fairs, seminars, and promotional events.
• Keep accurate, up‑to‑date student records in internal systems.
• Ensure compliance with ethical counseling standards and company policies.

Required profile

• Prior experience in study‑abroad counseling, preferably for Canada.
• Strong understanding of the Canadian education system, admissions, and visa processes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Strong counseling, persuasion, and student‑handling capabilities.
• Good organizational and time‑management skills.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English.
