About the role

Sparśa, a women‑led social business in Bharatpur, Nepal, creates biodegradable menstrual pads from banana fibre. As the company moves from product development to commercial launch, it seeks an Entrepreneurial Lead & CEO to steer growth, build market presence, and ensure long‑term financial sustainability.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive business growth strategy and roadmap.
• Lead the transition from product development to market readiness, including product launch planning.
• Identify new business opportunities, customer segments, and revenue streams.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to inform strategic decisions.
• Strengthen financial sustainability and scalability of the enterprise.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers, distributors, retailers, NGOs, municipalities, development partners, and corporate organizations.
• Forge strategic partnerships that expand market reach and impact.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of senior‑level experience in business development, strategy, or entrepreneurship.
• Proven ability to lead a startup‑like environment with limited resources.
• High ownership, initiative, and adaptability to rapidly changing priorities.
• Strong commercial acumen and understanding of social impact business models.
