Finance and Accounts Officer

About the role

National Exports is seeking a Finance and Accounts Officer to support its growing export operations. The successful candidate will be a motivated, detail‑oriented finance professional with solid practical experience in accounting, taxation and financial management.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day accounting and finance operations, maintaining books, ledgers, journals and financial records.
• Prepare monthly and periodic financial reports for management.
• Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliation and cash‑flow monitoring.
• Ensure compliance with VAT, TDS, income‑tax and other statutory filing requirements.
• Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, banks and relevant authorities.
• Oversee export‑related accounting, foreign‑currency transactions, customer receipts and banking documentation.
• Monitor customer receivables and supplier payments, reviewing invoices and supporting documents.
• Assist management with costing, pricing, profitability analysis, budgeting and financial planning.
• Maintain effective internal financial controls and supervise accounting staff.

Required profile

• Motivated and detail‑oriented finance professional.
• Minimum three years of relevant experience (approximately 36 months).
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation (VAT, TDS, income tax) and financial management.
• Experience in export‑related accounting and foreign‑currency transactions is preferred.
