Financial Assistant

About the role

The Financial Assistant will support the finance team at UPTRENDLY, ensuring accurate record‑keeping and smooth processing of financial transactions. This full‑time, on‑site position is based in Tinkune, Kathmandu and works closely with internal departments and external vendors.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records and accounting documents.
• Process invoices, payments, receipts, and expense claims.
• Reconcile bank statements and manage cash records.
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
• Prepare vouchers, financial reports, and spreadsheets.
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities.
• File financial documents properly and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Coordinate with internal departments and external vendors on financial matters.
• Provide administrative support to the Finance Manager as needed.
• Collect cheques and deliver bills when required.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in accounting or finance.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Valid 2‑wheeler license; occasional travel for cheque collection and bill dropping.
