Food and Beverage Intern

About the role

The Food and Beverage Intern will support daily operations across the food service areas of our hospitality consulting projects. Working under supervision, you will assist with order taking, service, basic food preparation, and help maintain high hygiene standards to ensure a consistent, positive guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in taking guest orders and delivering food and beverages.
• Support basic food preparation and presentation under guidance.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in service and kitchen areas.
• Coordinate with kitchen and service teams to set up and clear service stations.
• Monitor inventory levels and report shortages.
• Capture guest feedback and contribute ideas for service improvement.
• Prepare documentation, reports, and attend virtual team meetings.

Required profile

• Foundational knowledge of food service and F&B operations.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and courteous interaction with guests.
• Effective verbal communication skills.
• Basic culinary skills and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment while following hygiene and safety protocols.
• Enrollment in or recent completion of a hospitality, hotel management or related program (preferred).
• Positive attitude, reliability and openness to feedback.
