Freight Forwarding Specialist

About the role

Kunyo.co is looking for a part‑time Freight Forwarding Specialist to oversee the end‑to‑end movement of goods from suppliers to the company and onward to customers. The role is hybrid, combining on‑site work in Kathmandu with flexible remote days, and focuses on both domestic and international shipments.

Key responsibilities

• Organise and coordinate domestic and international freight forwarding activities.
• Prepare and manage export documentation, ensuring compliance with customs and carrier requirements.
• Track shipments, monitor delivery schedules and resolve any transportation issues.
• Communicate order status and shipping timelines clearly to internal teams and customers.
• Monitor freight costs and support continuous improvement of logistics processes.
• Maintain compliance with relevant shipping regulations and company policies.

Required profile

• Proven experience in freight forwarding, export processes and logistics coordination.
• Strong customer‑service orientation with the ability to handle inquiries and resolve delivery issues.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail, capable of managing multiple shipments simultaneously.
• Ability to work independently in a hybrid environment and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
• Diploma or degree in logistics, supply chain, business or related field is preferred but not mandatory if practical experience is demonstrated.
