General Manager – Luxury Collection Hotel

About the role

The General Manager serves as the primary strategic leader of Lajuli, a Luxury Collection Hotel, overseeing all aspects of operations, guest experience, financial performance, and brand alignment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute business strategies to maximize guest satisfaction, profitability, and market share.
• Lead the executive team, hold them accountable for strategy execution, and support their professional development.
• Drive sales and marketing initiatives, leverage Marriott demand engines, and generate new business leads.
• Manage talent, succession planning, and employee engagement across the property.
• Analyze financial and market data to ensure budget compliance and profit margin goals.
• Maintain strong owner relations through proactive communication and performance reporting.
• Engage with the local community, building relationships with officials, businesses, and customers.

Required profile

• 2‑year degree in Business Administration, Hotel & Restaurant Management or related field with 8 years of relevant experience, OR a 4‑year bachelor’s degree with 6 years of experience.
• Prior General Manager experience in a limited or full‑service property is preferred.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and late nights.
