Head Chef – Resort Hotel in Sauraha, Chitwan

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Head Chef to lead the culinary operations of a resort hotel in Sauraha, Chitwan. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high‑quality dishes that meet the expectations of both local and international guests while maintaining efficient kitchen operations.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all kitchen activities, including menu development, food preparation, and plating.
• Manage kitchen staff, schedule shifts, and ensure proper training and compliance with hygiene standards.
• Control inventory, order supplies, and monitor food costs to stay within budget.
• Maintain high standards of food safety, sanitation, and quality control.
• Collaborate with hotel management to align culinary offerings with guest preferences and seasonal themes.

Required profile

• Minimum of +2 (high school) education completed.
• At least 2 years of experience as a Head Chef in a 2‑star resort hotel.
• Strong leadership and team‑management abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, guest‑focused environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency in kitchen operations and food preparation techniques.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and hygiene standards.
