Human Resources Manager - Factory

About the role

We are seeking an experienced, hands‑on Human Resources Manager to lead HR operations in a manufacturing environment. The role involves overseeing both corporate and factory staff, ensuring compliance with Nepalese labour laws, and supporting a productive workplace.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day HR operations, maintain employee records, and coordinate with management and factory teams.
• Handle factory‑specific HR tasks such as workforce planning, shift scheduling, overtime, leave, and disciplinary actions.
• Lead recruitment and manpower planning for both factory and corporate positions, ensuring timely onboarding.
• Ensure compliance with Labour Laws, SSF, Provident Fund, Gratuity, insurance and support audits or inspections.
• Coordinate performance appraisal processes, set KPIs, and address performance gaps.
• Identify training needs, organise internal and external programmes, and maintain training records.
• Oversee payroll coordination, benefits administration, and accurate processing of compensation matters.
• Prepare regular HR reports on turnover, attendance, recruitment, and employee costs, providing insights to senior management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Management, Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of HR experience, preferably in manufacturing or industrial settings.
• Current experience as Senior HR Officer, Senior Executive or Assistant Manager in a factory environment.
• Strong knowledge of factory HR operations, employee relations, grievance handling and Nepalese labour regulations.
• Proven ability to work independently, negotiate, and solve problems.
