Interior Production & Coordination Engineer – Chinese Speaking

About the role

RV Group is seeking an Interior Production & Coordination Engineer who is fluent in Chinese to join its Kathmandu office. The role is full‑time and on‑site, focusing on supervising interior fit‑out activities, ensuring design compliance, and maintaining high quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate production of interior fit‑out items, furniture, fixtures, and joinery, ensuring schedules are met.
• Review and verify architectural, interior, shop, and fabrication drawings against site conditions.
• Identify and resolve technical discrepancies, providing clear clarifications to designers, contractors, and production teams.
• Conduct quality inspections of materials and workmanship, ensuring compliance with approved specifications.
• Maintain accurate production documentation, progress reports, and material specifications.
• Communicate with Chinese‑speaking clients, suppliers, and manufacturers, translating technical documents and facilitating interpretation during meetings.
• Support procurement decisions by evaluating samples, mock‑ups, and prototypes.

Required profile

• Proven experience in interior production coordination or a related engineering role.
• Fluent in both Chinese and English with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with designers, engineers, contractors, and suppliers.
• Detail‑oriented mindset with a focus on quality and timely delivery.
