Internal Auditor

About the role

This full‑time, on‑site position is based in Dhading, Nepal. The Internal Auditor will conduct financial and operational audits, assess compliance with internal policies, procedures and regulatory requirements, and provide clear audit reports with recommendations.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor procurement activities and verify compliance with company regulations, procedures and contractual requirements.
• Review documents and contracts that require official seals to ensure all approvals and compliance criteria are met.
• Participate in inspections and acceptance of capital expenditure, construction and installation works, and verify related settlement and payment documentation.
• Verify labor service settlements through on‑site measurements and supporting records.
• Conduct annual reviews of key internal controls and monitor implementation of corrective actions.
• Carry out special investigations into suspected irregularities and report significant findings.
• Complete other investigations and assignments delegated by the unit’s primary responsible person.

Required profile

• Strong financial and accounting knowledge with experience in finance and financial audits.
• Ability to prepare, review and present clear audit reports.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field; Semi‑CA or CA highly preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of internal or external auditing experience in manufacturing, construction or industrial sectors.
• Familiarity with internal control systems, risk management practices and relevant regulatory frameworks.
• High integrity, attention to detail and ability to work independently on‑site.
