Junior Architect

About the role

Jagadishwor Engineering Consultancy is seeking a Junior Architect to join its on‑site team in Pokhara. The role supports senior architects in developing concepts, preparing drawings and documentation for residential, commercial and infrastructure projects.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in developing architectural concepts and design ideas.
• Prepare and revise plans, elevations, sections and other drawing sets.
• Create 3D visualisations and support presentation materials.
• Coordinate with engineering staff to integrate architectural and structural solutions.
• Ensure designs comply with local building codes, safety standards and project requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or an equivalent recognised qualification.
• Strong foundation in architectural design and the ability to translate concepts into clear drawings.
• Knowledge of local building codes and construction practices is an advantage.
• Clear communication, teamwork orientation and openness to feedback.
• Willingness to learn new tools and take initiative in project delivery.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Proficiency in SketchUp or similar 3D visualization tools.
