Outbound Holiday Specialist

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Outbound Holiday Specialist to lead the full cycle of international holiday enquiries, from initial consultation and itinerary design through booking and after‑sales support. The role blends travel operations, sales, client relationship management and mentorship of junior team members.

Key responsibilities

• Handle end‑to‑end outbound holiday enquiries, including consultation, itinerary design, costing, booking and after‑sales support.
• Design customized international itineraries covering flights, accommodation, tours, transfers, travel insurance and visa requirements.
• Coordinate with airlines, hotels, international suppliers and DMCs to secure rates and confirm bookings.
• Maintain accurate booking documentation, invoicing, payments and collections.
• Assist clients with flight changes, emergencies, itinerary adjustments and other travel‑related issues.
• Convert enquiries into confirmed bookings through consultative selling and follow‑up.
• Achieve individual and team sales/revenue targets and upsell additional travel products.
• Train, mentor and support junior staff, reviewing their itineraries and quotations for accuracy.
• Develop and maintain SOPs, checklists and training materials.
• Prepare regular sales and pipeline reports and keep CRM records up to date.

Required profile

• 2–5 years of experience in outbound travel, holiday packaging or a similar role, preferably with a travel agency or tour operator.
• Strong knowledge of international destinations, airfare ticketing, visa processes and travel documentation.
• Proven track record in travel sales and client relationship management.
• Experience training, mentoring or supervising junior team members.
• Bachelor’s degree in Travel & Tourism, Hospitality, Business or a related field preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency with GDS/booking systems.
• Experience using CRM tools.
