Plant Administration Manager

About the role

The Plant Administration Manager will act as the primary liaison between the company and local authorities, ensuring smooth operation of the plant in Rupandehi. This role oversees utilities, security, facilities, and compliance while maintaining strong relationships with the community and vendors.

Key responsibilities

• Represent the company before government offices, local authorities, and the Labour Office.
• Manage customs clearance, coordinate with clearing agents, and resolve operational delays.
• Coordinate SEZ operational matters with internal teams.
• Oversee plant utilities such as electricity, water, load management, and supply continuity.
• Handle labour office matters, statutory notices, and local compliance.
• Supervise security, canteen, transportation, facilities, and general plant upkeep.
• Maintain local plant HR records, including attendance, leave, and recruitment support.
• Manage local vendors and service providers.
• Maintain positive relationships with the local community and neighbours.
• Identify and promptly escalate regulatory or operational risks.

Required profile

• Graduate with at least 6 years of relevant experience.
• Strong, established local presence and relationships in Rupandehi/Lumbini Province.
• Practical knowledge of Labour Office procedures, customs clearance, and local government processes.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, coordination, and people‑management skills.
• Must be locally based/resident in the Rupandehi or wider Lumbini region.
