Procurement and Logistics Manager

About the role

The Procurement and Logistics Manager is responsible for overseeing the entire procurement and logistics function of the organization. This role develops procurement strategies, manages supplier relationships, and ensures that purchasing processes are efficient, cost‑effective, and aligned with business objectives. The manager also monitors market trends, negotiates contracts, and guarantees timely delivery of quality goods and services.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and enforce procurement policies that meet price, quality, and delivery targets.
• Identify, evaluate, and select reliable suppliers while reviewing existing contracts for feasibility.
• Negotiate with suppliers to secure favorable terms and long‑term agreements.
• Monitor market trends and product availability to achieve best pricing without compromising quality.
• Manage inventory levels, preventing overstocking or shortages and implementing efficient control practices.
• Ensure compliance with legal, company, and food safety standards throughout the supply chain.

Required profile

• Master's degree in Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement, preferably within FMCG or agricultural sectors.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical abilities.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
