Procurement & Logistics Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Procurement & Logistics Manager to oversee the full procurement cycle, supply‑chain flow, inventory control and transportation activities for a trading and manufacturing operation. The role reports to the General Manager/Head of Operations and is responsible for ensuring timely, cost‑effective sourcing and smooth movement of goods from suppliers to customers.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with business needs.
• Identify, evaluate and negotiate with local and international suppliers; obtain quotations, compare prices and finalize purchase orders.
• Ensure on‑time procurement of raw materials, finished goods, spare parts and packaging supplies while staying within approved budgets.
• Maintain strong supplier relationships and monitor performance against contracts.
• Manage inbound and outbound logistics, coordinate transportation schedules, freight forwarders, customs agents and other logistics partners.
• Monitor transportation costs, identify cost‑saving opportunities and resolve delivery issues.
• Oversee inventory levels, coordinate with production, sales, warehouse and finance teams to maintain optimal stock.
• Ensure accurate documentation for purchases, goods receipt, transfers and dispatches.
• Coordinate import documentation, customs clearance and liaise with clearing agents, banks and suppliers.
• Analyze procurement and logistics costs, develop KPIs and prepare regular management reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Logistics, Business Administration or a related field.
• 5–8 years of relevant experience in procurement, logistics or supply‑chain functions, preferably within trading or manufacturing.
• Proven ability to negotiate contracts and manage supplier performance.
• Strong analytical, organizational and cross‑functional coordination skills.
• Knowledge of import/export procedures and customs regulations.
