Project Manager for Large Commercial Construction

About the role

The company seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead one of Nepal's largest commercial building construction projects, the Aadar Trade Mall, from mobilization through final handover.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage all civil, structural, interior fit‑out, and MEP works from mobilization to testing, commissioning and handover.
• Plan, organize, monitor and control overall construction activities to meet approved timeline, budget and quality standards.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers and government authorities.
• Develop and monitor detailed project schedules using MS Project or equivalent software.
• Review and approve construction methodologies, work programmes and resource plans.
• Monitor progress, implement corrective actions, control costs, forecast cash flow and ensure compliance with drawings, specifications and local regulations.
• Supervise structural, architectural, finishing and external works and integrate MEP activities with civil construction.
• Identify risks, develop mitigation strategies and report progress to senior management.
• Enforce QA/QC procedures and workplace health, safety and environmental standards.
• Manage project documentation, contract administration and change management while mentoring project engineers and site teams.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience managing large‑scale commercial construction projects.
• Proven ability to deliver projects on time, within budget and to high quality standards.
• Strong coordination skills with multiple stakeholders including clients, consultants and government bodies.
• Experience in cost control, budgeting, forecasting and cash‑flow management.
