Quality Control Officer

About the role

We are looking for a diligent Quality Control Officer to join our meat processing plant in Butwal. You will play a key part in safeguarding product safety and consistency by monitoring production, testing raw materials and finished goods, and ensuring compliance with food‑safety regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor daily production processes and verify that they meet internal quality standards.
• Inspect raw materials and finished products, conduct routine laboratory tests, and record results accurately.
• Identify non‑conformities, document findings, and work with production teams to implement corrective actions.
• Maintain and update laboratory records, quality‑control procedures, and support internal and external audits.
• Collaborate with management and staff to promote a culture of continuous improvement and food safety.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in food technology, microbiology, chemistry or a related field (preferred).
• Proven experience in quality control/assurance within a food‑production environment.
• Strong analytical ability to interpret test data, spot trends and recommend corrective measures.
• Excellent communication skills for clear reporting and cross‑functional collaboration.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Butwal and adhere to health, safety and hygiene protocols.
