Resource Development and Program Quality Director

About the role

World Vision Nepal is seeking a senior leader to drive resource development and ensure program quality across the country. The role reports to senior management and is responsible for expanding and diversifying the organization’s funding base to support its mission of helping vulnerable children.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the acquisitions team for all non‑sponsorship funding streams, including grants from bilateral, multinational, foundations, private and major donors.
• Oversee project‑non‑sponsorship funding, local corporate social investment (CSI), emerging impact investments and service contracts with development banks.
• Develop and implement strategies to increase and diversify resources in line with World Vision International Nepal’s country strategy goals.
• Collaborate with program teams to align funding opportunities with operational needs and impact objectives.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in donor relations, grants management and resource development within the international development sector.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage complex funding portfolios.
• Strong understanding of the humanitarian and development landscape in Nepal.
