Director of Finance & Administration – Nepal Country Office

About the role

The Director of Finance and Administration will lead all financial and administrative functions for Binaytara’s Nepal country office. Reporting to the Country Director, this senior position ensures financial integrity, audit readiness, and regulatory compliance while working closely with the Binaytara Cancer Trust to deliver successful oncology programs.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, cash‑flow management and financial reporting for the Nepal office.
• Manage annual and program‑specific audits, ensuring compliance with Nepali statutory requirements and Binaytara’s internal policies.
• Maintain donor compliance, grant reporting and any US‑based funding restrictions.
• Maintain internal controls, procurement policies and financial record‑keeping systems across US and Nepali jurisdictions.
• Prepare timely financial reports for Binaytara’s US headquarters, board and funders.
• Collaborate with Binaytara Cancer Trust as the primary point of coordination on financial and administrative matters.
• Align financial systems, procurement practices and reporting cadences between the two organisations.
• Support joint program budgeting and monitor co‑funded initiatives.
• Manage HR administration, office operations, vendor and contract management, and logistics for the Nepal office.
• Provide regular financial and operational updates to Binaytara’s leadership team and support due‑diligence, audits and site visits.
• Contribute financial and administrative input to program planning, including the Janakpur hospital campus and other Nepal initiatives.
