Resource Development and Program Quality Director

About the role

World Vision International Nepal is seeking a senior leader to drive resource development and ensure program quality across its operations. The role will oversee funding acquisition, compliance, monitoring and innovation to support vulnerable children in Nepal.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the acquisitions team to secure non‑sponsorship funding from grants, donors, corporate social investment and impact investment sources.
• Ensure all projects meet donor, government and World Vision technical quality and compliance requirements.
• Streamline design, monitoring, evaluation, accountability and learning systems to improve evidence‑based decision‑making.
• Oversee the Nepal Innovation Lab, fostering new ideas and securing adequate funding for its operations.

Required profile

• 7‑10 years of leadership or managerial experience in least‑developed or developing countries, preferably in Asia.
• Master’s degree in international development, development studies, project management, economics, public health, social policy or a related field.
• Familiarity with child‑focused, multi‑sectoral integrated development programmes.
• Proven success in writing winning concept papers or proposals for major donors such as US Government, EU, FCDO, DFAT, GAC, MFAT, Global Fund and Nordic governments.
• Strong analytical ability and experience in programme design, evaluation, strategic planning and M&E system optimisation.
• Experience engaging with governments and donors to initiate projects and maximise impact on child well‑being.
