Sales Officer – KOMATSU Division (Dealer In-Charge)

About the role

The Sales Officer – KOMATSU Division will lead equipment sales and dealer management across the Far Western Province of Nepal. Acting as the Dealer In‑Charge, the role focuses on expanding market share, achieving sales targets, and delivering high‑quality customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets for KOMATSU products.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities in construction, mining, infrastructure, hydropower, forestry and government sectors.
• Conduct regular customer visits, prepare quotations, negotiate terms and close deals.
• Manage day‑to‑day dealer operations, ensure compliance with company policies and monitor dealer performance and inventory.
• Provide product knowledge and sales support to dealer staff and coordinate promotional activities.
• Build and maintain long‑term relationships with customers, contractors, government agencies and business partners.
• Develop and execute territory sales plans, maintain an updated customer database and conduct field visits across the province.
• Prepare sales activity reports, forecasts and market intelligence, and coordinate documentation for sales, delivery and registration.
• Collaborate with Service and Spare Parts departments to ensure timely delivery, warranty support and after‑sales service.
• Organise product demonstrations, roadshows, exhibitions and customer engagement programmes.

Required profile

• Proven ability to achieve sales targets in equipment or heavy‑machinery markets.
• Experience managing dealer relationships and coordinating after‑sales support.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and ability to build long‑term stakeholder relationships.
