Sales Representative

About the role

We are seeking a confident, customer‑focused Sales Representative to join Ganapati Jewellers. The ideal candidate has sales or customer‑service experience, strong communication skills and a genuine interest in jewellery and luxury retail. The role involves assisting customers, handling showroom and online enquiries, following up with potential clients, and supporting day‑to‑day sales operations.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome customers and assist them in selecting jewellery according to their preferences.
• Explain product designs, materials, pricing and other relevant details clearly.
• Build positive relationships with customers and provide excellent service throughout the sales process.
• Maintain an attractive and well‑organized jewellery display.
• Handle customer enquiries received through Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp and other company platforms.
• Respond to social media messages professionally, promptly and accurately.
• Follow up with potential customers and support conversion of online enquiries into sales.
• Coordinate with team members regarding customer requests, orders and product availability.
• Assist with daily sales records, billing, stock handling and other showroom responsibilities.
• Maintain professional grooming, conduct and communication at all times.

Required profile

• Confident, well‑presented and customer‑focused attitude.
• At least one year of experience in sales or customer service.
• Strong communication skills and ability to explain product details clearly.
• Genuine interest in jewellery and luxury retail.
