Senior Associate – Deal Advisory (Valuation, Due Diligence & Forensic)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Associate to join our Deal Advisory team, based at our Kathmandu office. You will work as a dedicated analyst for an advisory firm, focusing on valuation, due diligence and forensic accounting projects.

Key responsibilities

• Perform financial normalisation, recasting and comparable company/precedent transaction analysis.
• Build WACC models, construct DCF valuations and prepare sensitivity tables and report exhibits.
• Map trial balances to databooks, create quality‑of‑earnings and EBITDA adjustment schedules, and analyse net debt and working capital.
• Index data rooms, track information requests and manage data‑room documentation.
• Reconstruct transaction‑level ledgers, trace bank to general‑ledger flows, and prepare related‑party evidence schedules.
• Produce arbitration and court bundle exhibits, and work within client templates and methodologies.
• Translate technical findings into clear, client‑ready written output and flag inconsistencies.

Required profile

• Minimum two years of experience at a single Top‑10 international accounting network firm.
• Demonstrable experience in business valuation, due diligence, forensic accounting or M&A.
• CFA Level 1 passed or documented proof of exam enrolment at the time of signing.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Strong Excel modelling and report‑writing abilities.
• Willingness to complete a deal‑advisory case study during interview.
• Relevant degree or qualification in Accounting, Finance, CFA, CVA, CA, ACCA or Financial Engineering (strongly preferred).
