Senior Automation Engineer - Quality Control

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Automation Engineer focused on Quality Control. The role combines automation, mobile, and manual testing to ensure high‑quality software across web and mobile platforms. You will work in an Agile environment, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to deliver reliable, user‑centric solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks using Robot Framework, Selenium or similar tools.
• Lead manual validation for complex workflows, mobile compatibility, and responsive UI across devices.
• Create and maintain mobile automation scripts with Appium, Robot Framework Mobile Library, or cloud labs such as BrowserStack.
• Execute end‑to‑end testing including regression, integration, data‑driven, and cross‑browser/device testing.
• Define test strategies for new features, including AI‑driven functionalities where applicable.
• Collaborate with Product, Development, QC and Business Analysts to refine test plans and align automation scope with sprint goals.
• Maintain traceability between requirements, test cases, scripts and defects using JIRA, Xray or similar tools.
• Integrate test suites into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions) for continuous quality feedback.
• Lead root‑cause analysis, defect triaging and recommend process improvements.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and mentor junior QC engineers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or a related field.
• 4–6 years of hands‑on experience in automation, manual and mobile testing.
• Strong Python programming skills.
• Experience with Robot Framework, Selenium and preferably Appium.
• Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman and web/mobile developer tools.
• Proficiency with CI/CD tools like Git, Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
