Senior Quality Engineer II

About the role

iQVIA is looking for a highly motivated Senior Quality Engineer II with 7+ years of experience in software quality assurance and testing. The role ensures high-quality software delivery through test planning, execution, automation and close collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Own end-to-end testing of assigned features, enhancements and releases
• Analyze requirements, user stories and technical specs to find risks, gaps and test scenarios
• Design, develop and run functional, integration, regression and end-to-end test cases
• Validate backend data and business logic with SQL queries
• Track and verify defects, investigate production issues and carry out root cause analysis
• Use AI-powered tools to improve testing efficiency, documentation, analysis and quality outcomes
• Work with Product Owners, developers, business analysts and support teams throughout the SDLC
• Mentor junior team members and promote a quality-first mindset

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field
• 7+ years in software quality assurance with strong manual testing expertise
• Hands-on SQL and database validation, including PostgreSQL and MySQL
• Experience testing web and enterprise applications
• Strong understanding of Agile and testing best practices

Preferred qualifications

• US healthcare domain experience
• API testing tools such as Postman or Swagger
• AI-assisted tools for test case creation, documentation and reporting
• Test automation concepts and mentoring experience
