Senior Surveyor

About the role

Raman Construction is looking for an experienced Senior Surveyor to lead surveying activities on hydropower projects at the BBDMP site in Surkhet. The role involves ensuring precise survey data, setting out works, and coordinating closely with construction and project teams.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and maintain control points, benchmarks, and reference pillars across the project site.
• Perform setting‑out and alignment for headworks, canals, tunnels, penstocks, powerhouse, and switchyard.
• Verify accuracy of all survey data before construction execution.
• Prepare survey drawings, cross‑sections, profiles, and as‑built surveys.
• Coordinate survey activities with site engineers, construction crews, and external consultants.
• Supervise junior surveyors and helpers, ensuring proper field records and data backups.
• Maintain compliance with survey standards, QA/QC procedures, and site safety practices.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in land or construction surveying, preferably on hydropower projects.
• Proven ability to lead a survey team and manage complex site conditions.
• Strong understanding of survey control, setting‑out, and alignment techniques.
• Excellent record‑keeping and data management skills.
