Senior Tour Operation Manager

About the role

The Senior Tour Operation Manager leads all aspects of tour delivery, quality control and transport management for inbound, outbound, trekking, expedition and special tours. The role ensures seamless execution, high client satisfaction and operational efficiency while collaborating directly with senior management to drive growth.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end tour operations, including registration, documentation, daily closing reports and service reconfirmations.
• Manage financial settlements, advance clearances and coordinate with the finance team.
• Oversee outbound ticketing, documentation and logistics for outbound tours.
• Implement and monitor strict quality‑control protocols, ensuring guides carry official IDs and vehicles are clean and properly staffed.
• Conduct daily client satisfaction calls and maintain quality‑control records.
• Manage inventory of inbound and trekking equipment, maintain approval lists and track valuable medical and photographic gear.
• Prepare and approve optional sales lists, set pricing, issue invoices and collect payments.
• Review tour files for completeness, conduct audits and ensure proper documentation.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience in tour or travel operations.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tours simultaneously.
• Excellent coordination with finance, sales and senior management.
• Attention to detail in quality control, client experience and equipment management.
• Ability to handle documentation, reporting and audit processes accurately.
