Service Manager – Power & Battery

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Service Manager to lead service and warranty operations for power and battery products, including UPS systems. The role involves coordinating technical teams, handling customer concerns, and ensuring timely resolution of service issues.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day service and warranty activities for UPS, batteries, and related power products.
• Coordinate technicians and service teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical problems promptly.
• Handle customer complaints, service requests, and warranty concerns professionally.
• Monitor service cases to ensure resolution within agreed timelines.
• Maintain service records, warranty documentation, and detailed service reports.
• Work with suppliers and manufacturers on technical and warranty issues when required.
• Monitor technician performance, providing guidance and support.
• Follow up with customers after service completion to ensure satisfaction.
• Identify recurring technical issues and propose appropriate solutions.
• Prepare regular service and warranty reports for management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; a minimum of +2 qualification may be considered with relevant experience.
• At least 3 + years of experience in service management, preferably in UPS, battery, power backup, or electrical/electronics industries.
• Hands‑on understanding of UPS and battery servicing and troubleshooting.
• Experience in warranty management and after‑sales service.
• Strong customer‑handling and communication abilities.
• Excellent problem‑solving and decision‑making skills.
• Ability to coordinate and manage technical/service teams under pressure.
