Shift Incharge – Feed Division

About the role

The Shift In‑Charge will lead the feed manufacturing unit during the assigned shift, ensuring production targets are met while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency. This role requires strong technical knowledge of solvent extraction processes and the ability to coordinate cross‑functional teams on the shop floor.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all production activities throughout the shift to guarantee uninterrupted plant operations.
• Achieve daily production targets in line with operational plans and quality specifications.
• Monitor process parameters, detect deviations, and implement corrective actions to maintain product consistency.
• Lead, guide, and motivate shift personnel, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
• Enforce Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies and promote a safety‑first culture.
• Collaborate with the Quality Control team to ensure finished products meet all required specifications.
• Maintain accurate shift records, including production logs, downtime, and incident reports.
• Facilitate smooth handovers between shifts by communicating operational updates and issues effectively.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a feed manufacturing unit or similar industrial environment.
• Strong leadership and team‑management abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage time‑sensitive operations.
• High attention to detail and commitment to compliance.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of solvent extraction processes.
• Familiarity with ISO standards.
• Experience with Statistical Process Control (SPC).
• Understanding of PQRS and Quality Control protocols.
• Proficiency in monitoring and adjusting process parameters.
