Site Investigation Officer – Telecom

About the role

We are seeking a Site Investigation Officer to conduct telecom site inspections, detect operational irregularities and potential fraud, and verify assets, fuel usage, expenses, and field activities. The role requires strong telecom field knowledge, an investigative mindset, and the ability to work independently with frequent field visits.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct surprise and covert inspections of telecom sites to identify fraud, fuel theft, and false maintenance claims.
• Verify physical existence and condition of telecom assets, including generators, batteries, rectifiers, transmission and passive equipment.
• Audit fuel consumption by comparing refilling records with generator operating hours and investigate anomalies.
• Validate maintenance and operational expense claims, cross‑checking invoices, quotations and supporting documents.
• Monitor compliance with Ncell/NT operational procedures, SLAs and contractual obligations, and recommend corrective actions.
• Collect photographic and documentary evidence, prepare detailed investigation reports, and maintain confidentiality.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Communication Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of telecom field operations experience, preferably with internal audit, compliance or fraud investigation exposure.
• High integrity, strong investigative mindset and ability to work under pressure.
