Software QA Engineer

About the role

We are seeking three Software QA Engineers to support a client on a long‑term remote engagement. The role combines manual and automated testing within an Agile/Scrum framework. Candidates should possess solid testing fundamentals and be able to work independently while collaborating with distributed teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design, execute, maintain, and document manual and automated test cases.
• Perform regression, integration, smoke, sanity, and end‑to‑end (E2E) testing.
• Conduct API testing using Postman and REST Assured.
• Validate databases and perform ETL testing with SQL and PostgreSQL.
• Develop and run automated tests using Playwright and/or Selenium WebDriver with C#/.NET.
• Identify, document, track, and verify software defects through JIRA.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and provide updates on testing estimates, defects, and activities.
• Prepare and maintain test documentation, results, and QA status reports.
• Communicate technical findings clearly and analyze complex issues.

Required profile

• Strong software testing fundamentals.
• Hands‑on experience with both manual and automated testing.
• Ability to work effectively in an Agile/Scrum environment.
