Supply Chain and Admin Officer

About the role

Save the Children is seeking a dedicated Supply Chain and Admin Officer to manage warehouse operations, asset tracking, and supplier relationships for its Nuwakot Field Office. The role supports program delivery by ensuring timely procurement, efficient storage, and proper distribution of supplies while adhering to organisational standards and child safeguarding policies.

Key responsibilities

• Procure goods and services, overseeing the full procurement cycle (approximately 50% of time).
• Receive, inspect, and record incoming supplies and assets.
• Manage the field office warehouse, including inventory control, asset management, and consumables.
• Maintain supplier relationships and ensure compliance with Save the Children’s procurement standards.
• Track all transactions in the SCI system for the country office, field offices, projects, and Bhutan office.
• Assist the line manager in developing and revising supply chain and warehouse management procedures and internal controls.
• Conduct field visits as required and be available for emergency response deployments.

Required profile

• Experience in procurement, warehousing, and asset management, preferably in a humanitarian or development context.
• Ability to work closely with program staff, suppliers, transporters, finance, and IT teams.
• Willingness to join within 24 hours of offer and provide reference details.
• Level 3 child safeguarding clearance, as the role may involve regular contact with children.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the SCI system for inventory and procurement tracking.
