Surveyor – Hydropower Project

About the role

We are looking for a qualified Surveyor to support the construction of a hydropower project. The role involves performing site surveys, setting‑out works, maintaining control points and delivering accurate as‑built data while working closely with engineers and construction teams.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct topographic, construction, alignment, level and setting‑out surveys for civil structures such as roads, tunnels, headworks, powerhouse, foundations, pipelines and canals.
• Establish and maintain survey control points, benchmarks and reference coordinates.
• Set out structures according to approved drawings, providing coordinates, levels, chainages and offsets.
• Operate and calibrate Total Stations, Auto/Digital Levels, GPS/GNSS and other measuring instruments.
• Record field observations, prepare survey books, coordinate sheets and detailed survey reports.
• Produce as‑built survey data and drawings, and assist in quantity verification.
• Interpret civil engineering drawings and coordinate with engineers, consultants and contractors to resolve alignment or level discrepancies.
• Ensure all surveying activities comply with project specifications, quality standards and health‑safety procedures.

Required profile

• Qualified Surveyor with experience in civil construction projects.
• Ability to work on‑site and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.

Required skills

• Operation of Total Station, Auto/Digital Level and GPS/GNSS equipment.
• Calibration and maintenance of surveying instruments.
• Production of survey field books, coordinate sheets and as‑built drawings.
• Reading and interpreting civil engineering and construction drawings.
