Technical Manager (Construction Chemical)

About the role

A construction chemicals company is seeking an experienced Technical Manager with strong technical knowledge of construction chemical products and their applications.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage construction chemical products and solutions, ensuring they meet industry standards.
• Provide technical product support and consultation to clients, addressing queries and advising on optimal usage.
• Oversee product applications and ensure technical requirements are met throughout project phases.
• Resolve technical problems and offer construction material solutions to improve performance and durability.
• Coordinate technical aspects of client projects, collaborating with engineering and site teams.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in the construction chemicals industry, demonstrating progressive responsibility.
• Strong technical knowledge of construction chemical products, including formulation and performance characteristics.
• Practical understanding of product applications across various construction contexts.
• Experience with a reputable construction chemical company, handling both product development and field support.
• Background with companies such as Sika, Normet, Brij Additives, Fosroc, Mapei, Hindcon, Dr. Fixit, or Master Builders Solutions (preferred).

Required skills

• In-depth knowledge of construction chemical product formulations.
• Ability to provide technical product support and client consultation.
• Proficiency in diagnosing and solving technical problems related to construction materials.
