Ticketing Manager

About the role

The Ticketing Manager will lead daily ticketing operations for both domestic and international travel at Guru Travels Ltd., a leading travel and tours company in Nepal. Based in Kathmandu, this full‑time, on‑site position ensures seamless ticket sales, supplier coordination, and exceptional customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee ticket sales, issuance, re‑issuance, and cancellations for airlines and event bookings.
• Coordinate with airlines, GDS providers and other suppliers to secure inventory and rates.
• Supervise the ticketing team, set performance targets and provide coaching.
• Handle customer inquiries, resolve ticketing issues and maintain high service standards.
• Monitor fare rules, promotional offers and market trends to optimise pricing strategies.
• Manage group bookings, corporate travel and special travel events.

Required profile

• Prior experience in travel ticketing or airline reservation management.
• Supervisory or team‑lead experience is an advantage.
• Relevant diploma or degree in Travel & Tourism, Business or a related field preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, organisational skills and ability to work under tight deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency with major GDS/airline reservation systems such as Amadeus, Sabre or Galileo.
• Knowledge of domestic and international fare rules.
• Excellent communication and customer‑service abilities.
