About the role

The Workshop Incharge will lead the automotive service workshop, overseeing daily operations, coordinating technicians, and ensuring vehicles are repaired to the highest quality standards. This role combines technical expertise with strong leadership to drive productivity and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate daily workshop operations, allocating jobs to technicians based on workload and expertise.
• Supervise technicians and service staff, monitor productivity, and ensure adherence to repair procedures and safety standards.
• Diagnose complex technical issues, oversee quality inspections, and coordinate with manufacturers for unresolved problems.
• Handle customer complaints, provide timely updates on repair status, and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Track workshop KPIs such as job cards, bay utilization, labor sales, and revenue; implement corrective actions to improve performance.
• Ensure on‑time vehicle delivery, minimize rework, and coordinate with other departments to resolve delivery issues.
• Prepare daily reports on service flow, revenue, pending jobs, and operational challenges for senior management.

Required profile

• Automobile Engineer with proven experience in workshop or service centre management.
• Strong leadership and team‑coordination abilities.
• Excellent understanding of automotive repair processes and quality standards.
