Communication and Reporting Associate (Roster)

About the role

The Communication and Reporting Associate will support UNDP projects by executing daily communication activities, enhancing visibility, and managing media outreach. The position is roster‑based and may be placed in Kathmandu or any provincial office in Nepal, depending on project needs.

Key responsibilities

• Execute project branding, communication plans, and outreach strategies.
• Produce high‑quality communication materials such as press releases, newsletters, infographics, case studies, photo essays, and short videos.
• Design and layout content for websites, social media, blogs, and newsletters.
• Maintain a digital library of media assets, photographs, and knowledge products.
• Track communication outputs, media coverage, and audience engagement; generate regular progress reports.
• Support media engagement by coordinating with national and international outlets, journalists, and government counterparts.

Required profile

• Experience executing daily project communication and outreach activities.
• Ability to develop and implement communication and visibility strategies aligned with UNDP standards.
• Proven skill in producing diverse communication outputs for multiple channels.
