Engineering Technician – Pools

About the role

Under the guidance of the Resort Engineer, the Engineering Technician – Pools is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and proper functioning of the resort’s swimming pool and related facilities. This role ensures a high-quality guest experience by keeping the pool environment pristine and operational.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor water quality levels (pH, chlorine, alkalinity) and adjust chemicals as needed.
• Inspect and maintain pool equipment such as pumps, filters, heaters, and lighting systems.
• Keep accurate records of water tests, chemical treatments, and maintenance activities.
• Conduct regular safety inspections of pool equipment to meet standards.
• Respond promptly and professionally to guest concerns or issues related to pool facilities.

Required profile

• Some college or advanced vocational training.
• Previous experience in pool maintenance or a related field.
• Knowledge of pool chemistry and safety regulations.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Hotel experience preferred.
