MEAL Trainee – Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability & Learning

About the role

World Vision International Nepal is offering a one-year MEAL (Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability & Learning) traineeship for recent graduates. The trainee will support the MEAL team in the East Field Office, Bardibas, helping to collect, analyse and report data that demonstrates the impact of programmes on child well-being.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and collate monitoring data from partner organisations and field offices.
• Support the MEAL specialist in organising trainings on data-collection tools and forms.
• Analyse entered data, provide timely feedback and assist in preparing monitoring reports.
• Gather evidence of good practices, challenges and policy developments for programme learning.
• Assist in preparing tools and templates for specific research and learning-sharing events.
• Maintain daily learning records and contribute to monthly progress reports.

Required profile

• At least a bachelor’s degree in project management, social sciences or a related field.
• Strong interest in humanitarian work and child-focused development programmes.
• Good communication skills in English and Nepali.

• Data collection and basic data analysis.
