Sales and Marketing Specialist - Carrying and Customs

About the role

The Sales & Marketing Officer – Carrying & Customs will drive business growth by promoting our carrying and customs services to importers, exporters, traders and corporate clients. You will build lasting relationships and secure contract‑based logistics projects.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and approach potential clients for carrying and customs‑related business.
• Develop contract‑based carrying solutions where the client provides customs work and the company manages freight, transport and delivery.
• Generate leads through field visits, networking, referrals and direct marketing.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, customs parties, freight partners and business networks.
• Coordinate client requirements with Customs, Freight, Transport, Documentation and Operations teams.
• Prepare and negotiate quotations, rates and contract proposals.
• Follow up on leads, quotations and pending opportunities.
• Monitor competitor rates, market trends and customer needs.
• Ensure smooth handover of confirmed business to Operations.
• Achieve monthly sales, revenue and new‑client targets and keep accurate sales records.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Management, Business Administration or a related field.
• Experience in customs, freight forwarding, carrying, logistics, transportation or B2B sales is preferred.
• Good understanding of import/export and logistics processes.
• Strong communication, negotiation and networking abilities.
• Target‑oriented, proactive and self‑motivated.
• Willingness to travel for client meetings and field visits.
