Senior Sales Officer – FMCG (Kathmandu)

About the role

The Senior Sales Officer will lead sales activities for a reputable FMCG company in Kathmandu. You will be responsible for meeting sales targets, expanding market presence, and building strong relationships with distributors and retailers.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets within the assigned territory.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities and monitor performance to address shortfalls.
• Ensure effective product placement, visibility and stock availability at retail and distribution points.
• Maintain relationships with key accounts, distributors and retailers, providing market feedback.
• Coordinate promotional campaigns, trade marketing activities and educate partners on new products.
• Prepare regular sales reports and maintain accurate records of customer interactions.
• Collaborate with marketing, operations and supply‑chain teams to meet business objectives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or a related field.
• 2‑4 years of sales experience, preferably in the FMCG sector.
• Strong communication, negotiation and relationship‑building abilities.
• Self‑motivated, goal‑oriented and able to work under pressure.
• Willingness to travel frequently within the territory.
