CAP-II Article – Audit & Tax Trainee

About the role

The CAP-II Article position is a full‑time, on‑site role based in Kathmandu. You will join a professional audit firm and support a variety of audit, bookkeeping and tax compliance activities while gaining hands‑on experience in a structured environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in statutory and internal audit engagements, including documentation, vouching and analytical review.
• Perform bookkeeping tasks and prepare basic financial statements.
• Support tax compliance work, both direct and indirect, under senior supervision.
• Maintain audit workpapers and ensure proper filing of documentation.

Required profile

• Enrolled in or having completed the CAP‑II level of the Chartered Accountants Programme.
• Strong foundation in accounting, auditing and taxation concepts.
• Basic proficiency in financial accounting and preparation of financial statements.
• Willingness to learn practical tax compliance procedures.
