Client Manager (ACCA Member) – UK Accounting

About the role

We are seeking a qualified ACCA member to join our Kathmandu team as a Client Manager, delivering UK accounting and tax services to individuals, businesses and non‑resident clients. The role is part of our global delivery model, requiring direct communication with UK clients and collaboration across Nepal, India and the UK.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review UK self‑assessment tax returns, partnership returns and corporation tax computations for a client portfolio.
• Handle UK property accounting, including rental income, allowable expenses, capital allowances and non‑resident landlord compliance.
• Assist with VAT returns, bookkeeping reviews and management accounts preparation.
• Communicate directly with UK clients to gather information, clarify queries and deliver professional work.
• Liaise with HMRC on routine correspondence, authorisations and compliance queries.
• Identify technical issues, escalate or resolve them with clear reasoning, and maintain accurate client files and working papers.
• Support client onboarding by reviewing incoming information and flagging gaps or risks.
• Stay up‑to‑date with UK tax legislation, HMRC guidance and ACCA technical updates.
• Collaborate with colleagues across the UK, Nepal and India to ensure timely, high‑quality delivery.

Required profile

• Full ACCA membership.
• 2–5 years of practical experience serving UK‑based clients in accounting or tax compliance.
• Working knowledge of UK self‑assessment, corporation tax, VAT and PAYE.
• Fluent written and spoken English.

Required skills

• Proficiency with UK accounting and tax software such as TaxCalc, Xero, QuickBooks or Sage.
