Education Counselor

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Education Counselor to join our consultancy and guide students and parents through the complex process of studying abroad. The role involves providing personalized academic and career advice for a wide range of international destinations.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct one‑to‑one counseling sessions with students and parents about higher‑education options in countries such as Australia, Canada, the UK, USA, New Zealand, Japan, South Korea, and Europe.
• Assess academic records, career goals, English proficiency, financial situation, and destination preferences to recommend suitable universities, courses, and pathways.
• Provide accurate information on admission requirements, tuition fees, scholarships, intakes, deadlines, and eligibility.
• Guide students through the full admission and enrollment process, including document review, application preparation, and submission.
• Coordinate with university representatives, admission teams, and internal departments to ensure smooth processing.
• Maintain detailed records of inquiries, counseling sessions, applications, offers, and enrollments.
• Participate in education fairs, seminars, workshops, university events, and school visits.
• Stay updated on international education policies, visa regulations, and scholarship opportunities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Education (or related field); a Master’s degree or professional certification is a plus.
• 3–5 years of proven experience in education counseling, student advising, or international education consultancy.
• Demonstrated ability to counsel students for multiple study destinations.
• Strong knowledge of international admission processes and university application requirements.
